Integrated Design
The S2000HD allows you to do many things that you can't with a digital SLR. For instance, using the 2.7-inch LCD to compose your image, rather than having to lift the camera to cover your eye.
Using the zoom to reach virtually any of the major focal lengths, rather than having to change lenses and possibly see harmful dust enter the camera, not to mention missing the shot. Also, the mirror-free design allows you to enjoy the added functionality of a movie mode, which is something that SLRs cannot offer.

In addition to the Electronic Viewfinder, you can also choose to frame shots with the large 2.7 inch LCD monitor which possesses an extremely detailed display of 230,000 pixels, The FinePix S2000HD enables you to check focus and get an immediate idea of image sharpness.
This model can also display up to 100 images in a 10x10 array. Utilising this Micro Thumbnail View enables you to instantly select specific images to either view or print.

*At ISO 6400, resolution is set to 5 megapixels. At full resolution (10 megapixels), sensitivity is limited to a maximum ISO 1600.

The FinePix S2000HD features Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilisation mode, which combines a mechanically stabilised Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities, (up to ISO 6400), for total anti-blur protection.
The combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement even further to provide the highest quality digital pictures yet, with sharp, clean and clear results no matter what the shooting conditions.

Face Detection operates by identifying and prioritising up to 10 faces in a frame and then adjusting the focus and exposure accordingly to ensure the sharpness and clarity of human subjects in the picture, regardless of background.

Say goodbye to Red-eye – for good
Red-eye is the single biggest reason why the best portraits are ruined. The FinePix S2000HD uses Face Detection technology to find and instantly correct any red-eye from every face in the frame as the shot is taken.
The system on the FinePix S2000HD will only correct redness in the pupil of the eye, not elsewhere in the picture, because the camera uses eye detection within face detection to find the pupil. While other cameras can sometimes convert lips or red jewellery to brown or blue, the FinePix S2000HD never gets it wrong.

Intelligent Flash captures both the subject and the background with natural brightness, setting the ideal balance of flash output and sensitivity.
The Dual Shot mode combines Natural Light and Flash and allows you to capture the same scene twice, once at high sensitivity with natural light and once with Intelligent Flash, ensuring great photos, even in challenging shooting situations.
You can compare the images at your convenience and select if you wish to keep one or both.

Versatile Shooting Modes
Amongst many other attributes the FinePix S2000HD features a Super Macro Mode, Instant Zoom, and High Speed Continuous Shooting.
Super Macro Mode allows you to capture impressive full frame close ups within 1cm, (0.4 inch) of your subject.
Instant Zoom allows you to follow a moving subject in wide view, bringing you an additional 1.4x or 2x digital zoom impact at the single press of a button. Each frame can be saved to your memory card.
Continuous Shooting modes allows you to capture all the action, up to 13.5 frames per second in a burst, effective for any photographer focusing their attention on fast moving subjects.

Zoom Bracketing is another useful function on the S2000HD. It enables three shots to be taken at the single press of the button, from wide to close up, at varying degrees of magnification (original, 1.4x and 2.0 x).
This enables instant editing on the camera to choose the ideal shot, rather than having to go back to a PC to facilitate a digital crop.
Continuous Shooting
Playback Functions
The FinePix S2000HD houses a NEW playback feature that allows you to select and share images according to their original shooting mode: Still, Continuous, or Movie files.
Any subjects captured in continuous shooting mode will play as a thumbnail within the LCD, allowing you to continue to look for additional captured images in screen.
You can also share your images with your friends and family by running a slide show in camera
